DELIVERY STRUCTURE

  • Each Learning Centre is managed by a team of one Supervisor and assisted by one or more Supervisor/Monitor.
  • The Supervisor facilitates the students’ learning by providing academic guidance and inspiring them to achieve their goals.
  • The Monitor takes care of the non-academic needs and administration.
  • The teacher-student ratio is 1:30.

Self Management and Self-Directed Learners

  • Students are trained to be active learners, setting and accomplishing their own goals.
  • Maximum one-to-one coaching.
  • Targeted Group teaching.
  • Every child has a work station that encourages focus and concentration as the student does his work. The layout helps to build self-control and responsibility.

MASTERY ASSESSMENT

Students do not sit for periodic examinations. They are, however, continuously assessed through Check-ups, Self Tests, and PACE Tests as they work through each module. To ensure PACE mastery, students need to obtain a minimum grade of 80% in their PACE Tests before advancing to the next PACE.

Transcripts and/or Progress Reports are issued during Parent Conferences at the end of each semester.

Each school year commences in January and ends in December. There are 4 terms every calendar year divided into 10 weeks per term, for a total of 40 weeks. The Heritage school calendar adheres to Singapore’s scheduled public and school holidays. We offer both morning and afternoon sessions. Classroom learning are from Mondays to Thursdays, while Fridays are dedicated for experiential learning through Co-Curricular Activities (CCA).
